Swedish-invested New Haldex Automotive Plant Completed for Operation
The new plant of Haldex Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., a Swedish-invested enterprise, was officially completed for operation on Oct. 31. The plant, now staffed with over 100 employees, is planning for the next phase of expansion.
Haldex Group of Sweden, a world-famous supplier of automotive parts and related patented products headquartered in Stockholm, has over 4,000 employees worldwide with 6 billion SEK annual turnover from service to Daimler-Chrysler, Volkswagen, Volvo trucks, Schmitz, and Zepro corporations, etc.
Haldex Group has so far invested175 million RMB in Chinese market, and its subsidiary, Haldex Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., located on the east of Jinji Lake, SIP, started operation in 2005, and its new plant, 56,000m2 in land area, will chiefly manufacture Braking products like ABS systems, special spring wires for combustion engines, and hydraulic units, partly for Chinese market and partly for export.
