SIP Recruits Talents in USA and Canada
A recruitment delegation of SIP gave its first recruitment presentation in University of Columbia in Canada on Oct. 11, which attracted over 60 Chinese students now studying overseas.
The recruitment activity was carried out with the full support of Chinese Consulate General in Vancouver and UBC Chinese Students' Federation. Jiang Wei, Chinese Consul General in Vancouver, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Hua Xuexing, head of the recruitment delegation, gave a detailed introduction on the special preferential policies towards returned Chinese students concerning project registration, financial allowances, housing, land use, property management, social security, residence registration, foreign exchange control, etc. in SIP.
At the recruitment meeting, over 100 posts were offered to the student candidates in the fields of software, bionanotechnology, logistics, machine building, and finance from some 70 foreign-invested SIP enterprises, government undertakings, and research and educational institutions. The 2-hour meeting was imbued with lively atmosphere, and was followed by interactive questions and answers. The delegation answered inquiries about employment, career building, housing, education of children to the satisfaction of the students.
The delegation's next destinations will be San Francisco and Los Angeles in USA to continue its close contact with Chinese students with the aim to introduce into SIP the urgently needed high and medium-level talents.
