Metal One Builds Stainless Steel Production and Sales Base in Suzhou
Metal One Corporation, which started out in Japan, now aims at Chinese market, and in particular, at the largest economic belt in China, i.e., the eastern regions. The processing and sales of stainless steel materials by Metal One formally started on June 8, when Metal One Precision (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. is officially commissioned for operation.
In the past ten years, there has been an annual increase of 6% in the demand for stainless steel globally, and it is anticipated that the increase rate will reach 8-10% in Southeast Asia in the next few years. The demand in Mainland China and Hong Kong will be even greater. In East China, the fast clustering of hi-tech industries, accentuated by the entry of foreign-invested manufacturing enterprises of digitalized electrical appliances, PC parts, IT-related equipment, etc., call for ever-increasing supply of stainless steel materials. It is in such circumstances that Metal One has set up a rolled stainless steel material business center in Suzhou last May, oriented to the Japanese-invested manufacturing enterprises in East China.
The establishment of Suzhou Center for rolled stainless steel materials is part of the plan to deploy sales bases in Southeast Asia, Central China, and East China in an attempt to reinforce the sales network in these regions. Metal One is considering to enter North China in the near future so that all the major regions in China will be covered by the sales system of high-quality stainless steel materials.
