SIP holds Investment Briefing in Switzerland
SIP held an investment briefing on May 31 in Zurich, Switzerland. Mr. Yang Jianzhong, Deputy Secretary of SIP Party Working Committee and Vice Director of Sipac, gave a detailed account of the development and construction of Suzhou Industrial Park, and offered invitations to the entrepreneurs present for surveys and visit in SIP. Mr. Lu Wenjie, Chinese Consul General in Zurich and Mr. S. Walter, Chairman of Supply Chain Management Forum of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, delivered warm speeches at the meeting. Mr. Kurt Haerri, Senior Vice-president of Swiss Schindler Corporation, and Dr. Christian Madelung, President of Epotech Corp., gave presentations of the investment climate of SIP from the point of views of investors.
The briefing lasted 3 and half hous, and about a hundred personages from industry and commercial circles and enterprises of Switzerland showed keen interest in the investment environment of SIP and put forward many questions. Mr. Yang Jianzhong and the responsible members of SIP Marketing Dept. for Investment gave detailed answers. Many attending guests expressed intention to visit and to make on-spot surveys in SIP.
The SIP delegation is scheduled to hold similar briefing in Greece on June 5, and among the attendants will be Chinese ambassador, Chairman of Sino-Greek Chamber of Commerce and secretary general of Greek Industrial Federation, Vice Foreign Minister of Greece, Vice Minister of Economy and Treasury, and some two hundred corporate guests.
During the stay in Europe, the delegation will pay visits to a number of companies to engage in in-depth talks concerning investment in SIP.
