SIP Allocates 40 Million RMB Technological Development Fund
In implementing the call of Jiangsu Provincial Conference on Technological Innovation, SIP government held a meeting on April 25 to release 40 million RMB fund to enterprises designated to undertake national, provincial, or municipal technological projects. This is the second occasion for SIP to allocate supporting funds to enterprises involved in technological innovation.
In recent years, SIP authorities have consistently given major stress on fostering independent intellectual property rights and developing hi-tech industries. Many breakthroughs were made in the year 2005 in the technological innovation by civilian-run enterprises, and more than 50 projects were approved by science and technology administration departments of the municipality and province. Supporting funds allocated from the provincial and municipal authorities have greatly helped the implementation of IC designing enterprise incubator system, IC Testing and Service Center, Software Testing Service Platform in SIP.
While providing financial support and guidance for the technological enterprises, SIP government reinforced its management of science and technology projects by organizing project management training and control of specialized use of the funds to ensure that the funds are spent for the sole purpose of R&D and independent innovation by the enterprises.
