Indonesian Vice-president Visits SIP
The visiting Indonesian Vice-president Yusuf Kalla and his entourage, minister of transportation, minister of trade and minister of energy and mineral resources, visited Suzhou Industrial Park on the morning of April 20.
Vice-president Yusuf expressed his appreciation of the achievements in SIP development, and exchanged views with leaders of municipal departments concerned on the policies and advantages of SIP in attracting foreign investment, its services and management system, etc.
Suzhou Industrial Park is being developed by China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd. (CSSD) with core industries in precision machinery, biological pharmaceutical, and new materials.
Cao Fuxing, Deputy Mayor of Suzhou, briefed the Indonesian vice-president and his entourage on an overview of Suzhou Municipality.
Vice-president Yusuf and his party left Suzhou for Shanghai, and will continue his visit to Shenzhen on April 21.
