SIP Starts Construction of Creation Industry and Bio-Bay Technology Parks
Municipal leaders Wang Rong, Yan Li, Wang Jinhua, Zhou Fuyuan, and Feng Ruidu lay foundation for the two parks.
A ceremony was held to lay foundation for Creation Industrial Park and Bio-Bay Technology Park in Suzhou Industrial Park.
The Creation Industry Park belongs to the fifth phase of SIP Technology Park, which covers an area of 40 hectares with an investment of 700 million yuan RMB. According to Gu Ning, General Manager of SIP Technology Development Co., Ltd., the Creation Industry Park is intended to foster such modern creative industries as art, media, advertising, fashion design, digital entertainments, and industrial designing as an important software factory, concept designing workstation, and cartoon production base in Suzhou and the whole of Yangtze delta region.
The Bio-Bay Technology Park is located in SIP Dushu Lake Higher Education Zone with an area of 86.3 hectares. Lin Xianghong, Chairman and GM of SIP Bio-Bay Technology Development Co., Ltd., says that the first phase of construction of the park will be completed within this year to provide a well-equipped public platform for bio-Bay technology, and to ensure the entry of some dozen enterprises by contract.
