Emerson Climate Technology Wins HK Industry Award
The US-owned Emerson Electrical Corporation (NYSE: EMR) won the "technological achievement prize" of HK Industry Award for the digital turbo-air conditioning technology, developed by Emerson Climate Technology. The technology is designed for customers using centralized air-conditioning and heating by precision control of temperature of each room and saving 40% energy.
According to the Asian-Pacific Marketing Department of Emerson Climate Technology, the digital turbo technology is replacing the traditional separate type of air conditioning system, and has been accepted by major manufacturers of air-conditioners in Asia, such as Samsung, Meidi, Gree, Mitsubishi, and Hai’er.
Emerson is now providing innovative solutions for global network energy, industrial automation, environment maximization, and customers of household electrical appliances. The corporation achieved 17.3 billion US dollars sales revenue in the fiscal year of 2005.
