Kubota Donates 300,000 RMB to Disaster-stricken Ruichang City, Jiangxi Province
A 5.7-strong earthquake that stuck the Ruichang City area, Jiangxi Province, on Nov. 26, 2005, the most devastating in the record of east China, brought heavy losses to the region. This caused great concern in Kubota Agri-machinery (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in SIP, and the company decided to donate 300,000 RMB to the people of the disaster-stricken area.
On Dec. 16, 2005, a donation ceremony was held in Ruichang City, attended by Mr. Nakai, GM of Kubota Co., Liu Jichan, Vice-director of Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Agriculture, Hua Jinguo, Member of Standing Committee of Jiujiang Municipal Party Committee, Deng Jianping, Director of Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Agricultural Machinery, and responsible members of Jiujiang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, Ruichang City Party Committee, and City Government. The city leaders of Ruichang gave an account of the disaster at the ceremony and expressed sincere thanks for the assistance of Kubota Company. Mr. Nakai made a short speech in deep emotions.
