SIP Customs Broadens Scope of Online Approval for Processing Trade
From November 21 onwards, SIP Customs Administration started new items of online approval for domestic sale of processing trade and equipment handbook registration services. Once the enterprise obtains approval for processing trade by Ministry of Commerce, the approval is directly transmitted through network to the customs. Previously, SIP Customs had realized online approval for duty reduction and exemption and alteration of handbooks, and by now, all the related services for processing trade can be handled through aligned network approval by Ministry of Commerce and SIP Customs, and the enterprises do not have to shuttle between the Ministry and the customs in their applications. The "one-spot service" is thus made available by the customs and the Ministry through network.
