SIP Recruitment Missions to Cover 17 Universities in 14 Cities
From Oct. 28 to Nov. 30, recruitment missions organized by SIP government will embark on a 14-city tour to carry out on-spot recruitment interviews at 17 universities with the aim to collect graduates of the year 2006 to meet the demands of SIP enterprises. Some 130 enterprises will join in the trip with 3,000 job vacancies.
The latest statistics show the most needed personnel in SIP are manufacturing operation (5,083 vacancies), mechanical engineering (2,109 vacancies), consumption service (1,678 vacancies), electronics and communication (841 vacancies), and computer science (431 vacancies). Demand for employees in service sector and manufacturing industries will be the major emphasis in the planned university campus recruitment activities.
The recruitment trips will cover 4 routes (northeast, south China, west, and east China) in 14 destinations, which are respectively Dalian, Shenyang, Changchun, Ha'erbin, Wuhan, Xi'an, Chengdu, Xiamen, etc. The campuses include those of Dalian University of Technology, Northeast University, Jilin University, Ha'erbin Industry University, Central China University of Technology, Xi'an University of Electronic Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Chengdu University of Electronic Technology, Xiamen University, South China University of Technology, Zhongshan University, and Central South University.
According to leaders of department concerned, 61 on-spot recruitment meetings are to be held in the last quarter of the year, and it is anticipated that 1,700 work posts will be offered to 40,000 candidates, and the attendant rate will be 120,000 person/times.
