SIP Central Hotel Area Soon to Rise to the Scene
Jian Wu Hyatt Hotel (construction soon to start)
The planned central hotel area in Suzhou Industrial Park, an important part of Suzhou CBD, is located east of Jinji Lake, west of Xinghu Street, south of Modern Avenue, and north of Jinji Isle. It is reported from SIP Jian Wu Group that, after the opening of Jian Wu International Hotel in the coming October, the Group will build 6 or 7 hotels in the next three years with a total of over 2,000 guest rooms. 3 hotels and 2 hotel-run apartment buildings built by the Group will be located in the Central Hotel Area, among which Jian Wu Hyatt Hotel is expected to launch the most luxurious rooms in Suzhou's hospitality service.

The Central Hotel Area will line up with the Modern Square, Jinji Lake Business Square, and other service facilities in the vicinity of SIP Administrative Center, International Expo Center, and the Technology & Cultural Center to form a complete service network.

The 200-room Jian Wu International Hotel, the first of the series of hotels built by Jian Wu Group, will take a prominent position in Zone One of Jinji Lake Commercial Square.

The construction of Jiian Wu Hyatt Hotel, with the participation of the world-renowned Hyatt Hotels Group, will get under way next month, and it is expected to open by September 2007. Located to face the lake scenery, this 22-story hotel consists of the hotel and apartment, with 1,000 guest rooms.

Upon the heels of Jian Wu Group, many hotel enterprises are moving into the east of Jinji Lake with projects. Besides Jinji Lake Hotel and Orient Gate Hotel, which are being built in the CBD, other hotels are being planned by hotels enterprises of Singapore, France, and Germany. In complement of the deluxe hotels, there are also economy type of hotels and Japanese spa holiday hotel under construction, making the hospitality industry in SIP a thriving service complex.
