Minsheng Bank Opens Branch in Suzhou
Minsheng Banking Corporation of China opened its Suzhou Branch on July 26 at No.200 Xing Hai Street, Suzhou Industrial Park. It is the first time in Suzhou to witness the entry of a commercial bank with stocks held by non-state-owned enterprises. Present at the opening ceremony were Dong Wenbiao, President of the Head Office of the bank, and Vice-president Shao Ping. Wang Rong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Provincial Committee and Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, and Executive Vice-mayor Wang Guoxing also attended the ceremony to offer congratulations.
Mensheng Banking Corporation, operating in the mode of Foreign-funded banks such as Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and Citibank through the management method of parallel functional units, provides direct, excellent, and fast financial services to enterprises and individuals. In a report on the competitiveness of Chinese commercial banks, published in the issue of the "Banker" magazine at the beginning of this year, Minsheng Bank ranks second in comprehensive competitive strength and the first in potential competitive strength.
At the opening ceremony, Minsheng Bank Suzhou Branch signed mutual trust agreements with Suzhou Guo Fa SME Warranty Investment Co., Ltd., Economic Development Group General Corporation of Suzhou New and Hi-tech District, Suzhou International Exposition Center Co., Ltd., Uniwill Computer (SIP) Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Nandu Real Estate Co., Ltd. The leading member of the branch expressed in his speech that Minsheng Bank would be actively involved in the economic development of Suzhou and dedicated to the financial services for enterprises, especially the small and medium-sized enterprises by creating a win-win or multiple-win situation.
