Japanese-invested Construction Service Goes in Depth in Loufeng Township
A foundation-laying ceremony was recently held for the construction of a new plant of the Japanese-invested enterprise, Sanwa Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., registered in Loufeng Township, SIP, in May 2003. The planned workshops of Phase One, with a total constructed area of 5,300 square meters, will be commissioned in April 2006. The company, the third enterprise invested in Suzhou by Japanese Sanwa Group, specializes in manufacturing special machinery, auxiliary parts, and materials related to construction and installation engineering.
Ever since its founding in 1948, Sanwa Group has been known all over Japan for its high-quality service to the construction related to electrical appliances, air conditioners, and other equipment. The Group began investment in China in 2001, and set up its first wholly-ownd enterprise in SIP in April 2002. Over the year, the Group participated in the engineering projects of dentistry, optical cells, and ceramics, etc. The establishment of the current plant will be a renewed boost to the foreign-funded service industry for construction projects.
